pAdams Center- The funeral for Larry J. “Otti” Plummer, Jr. will be 2 pm Tuesday, March 29th at the Reed & Benoit Funeral Home, Watertown, with Pastor Shane Ryan officiating. Burial will follow in North Watertown Cemetery. Calling hours are Monday from 4 pm - 7 pm at the funeral home./ppMr. Plummer, 31, of Adams, passed away from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident in the Town of Adams on Wednesday, March 23rd./ppLarry is survived by his parents, Donald and Kristine (Scee) Frederick, Adams Center; his father Larry Plummer, Florida; a son, Frederick Plummer; his sister Terrah Plummer Frederick, Colorado; 2 half brothers Shawn Donato and Garrett Plummer; his grandparents Terry Scee, Sr, Watertown; Richard and Esther Frederick, Adams Center; his many aunts and uncles Terry (Cindy) Scee; Mike Scee; Rick (Paula) Scee; Patricia (Robert) Booth; Cindy (William) Gardner; Scott (Kathy) Scee; Francis (Nancy) Plummer; Steven Plummer; Bernard (Sandy) Plummer; Jimmy (Linda) Plummer; Brenda (Joe) Pacella; David (Sally) Frederick; many very close cousins. He was predeceased by grandparents Shirley Scee; Frances and Loretta Plummer; and an aunt Debbie Lamark./ppHe was born in Watertown and graduated from South Jeff High School in Adams where he played football for the Spartans. He furthered his education receiving his certification in HVAC from the Baron Institute of Technology. Larry moved to Florida where he worked for Superior Aire. He returned home to be near his son and was working as a heavy equipment operator in the family business, Frederick Excavating of Adams Center. Larry was being groomed to eventually take over operation of the excavating business./ppLarry enjoyed sailing while in Florida and raced Stiletto boats in the Sarasota Regatta for three years. Larry was the best son, grandson, brother, uncle, cousin and friend that anyone could ever ask for. His huge heart and easy going humorous personality made everyone who knew him a better person for it.
