pStuart “Stu” Pierce, age 75, was called to the Lord on Wednesday, March 31, 2016, in Jacksonville Florida after a short battle with pneumonia. Born May 27, 1940 in Carthage, New York./ppUpon graduation from Carthage High he entered the US Navy and served in both the Mediterranean and Vietnam Theaters./ppAs a US Navy veteran, Stu settled in Jacksonville where he began a long and successful career in the automotive business. His love of the outdoors led him to explore the United States either on one of his beloved Harley’s or with his wife in their motorhome. /ppStu was a daily communicate at Christ The King Church in Jacksonville and an active member of parish organizations./ppHe is survived by his Wife of nine years, Laddie Lou Vincente Pierce, a Son, Stuart Pierce and his wife Julie of Atlanta,Georgia, two Daughters; Lei Lani Pierce Martin and her husband Al of Jacksonville, Florida and Rebecca Pierce, two grandchildren; Kaylyn Mallard and her husband Elliot, & Matthew Martin ,sisters; Carol Soucy of Mexico NY, Elaine Salvetti and husband Edward of Fulton NY, brothers; Phillip Pierce and his wife Lois of Jackson MO, Paul A. Pierce and wife Kathleen Muldoon of CA and NY: several nieces and nephews./ppPredeceased by; his wife Kay Hanby Pierce, parents Donald and Bernice Pierce of Carthage NY and brother Joseph Pierce of Albany NY./p
