Nancy A. Brimmer (Nan)

pNancy A. Brimmer (Nan), 63, of Annandale, VA, departed this world on Thursday, July 21, 2016, after having her body fail her. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2016, at St. Patrick’s Church, located at 123 S. Massey Street, Watertown, NY 13601. Her ashes will be laid to rest later, in the Fall, next to her Father, the late Richard L. Bearup. Nancy was originally a native of Adams, NY, however relocated to the Washington DC area in 1985. Nancy lived a colorful and far from boring life. Whether it be from her earlier, playful years serving as a waitress at the Golden Lion in Watertown, NY; her many, many years serving as a loyal and dedicated employee of a few VA-based companies such as Geologistics, Matrix International and Agility International; or even just her love of making family time special with memorable family gatherings and extravagant dinners. She was by far an amazingly beautiful and extraordinary woman who was loved by each and every person that she came into contact with. Her warm and giving nature warmed people’s hearts from the start, and her sassy and witty nature made for an exciting ride. Nancy will be sadly missed by all, as she was truly an exceptional Mother, Daughter, Sister and Friend. There are not enough words to express the loss of such a woman. Nancy leaves behind to cherish her sweet memories, her Mother, Anna Bearup; life-long partner, Cleveland Calhoun; Daughter, Rebecca Brimmer; Grandson, Kristopher Brimmer; Sister & spouse, Carol & Jim Foster; Nieces & spouse, Julie Casbolt and Janet & Chris Caskey; as well as numerous extended family members such as Shawn & Kathy Calhoun; Beth & Randy Fipps; Cleveland Calhoun Jr.; Ryan & Cody Calhoun; Molly Calhoun; and even two playfully adopted Daughters Valerie Maxwell and Beverly Caraway. We wish that we could acknowledge each and every person to touch Nancy’s life, but there are far too many to make that possible. Nancy will never be forgotten. She will forever live in our hearts and minds!/p
