LOWVILLE – Robert F. Stoll, 85, formerly of Watson, died Sunday afternoon on, March 12, 2017 at Lewis County Residential Health Care Facility. The family would like to thank the 3rd floor staff for the care they showed their father.
Mr. Stoll was born on September 12, 1931 in Rochester the son of the late Gilbert and Alice (Brooksbank) Stoll, and where he attended local schools.
Robert married Loretta Rose Clark on September 22, 1951 in Gates, NY. The couple shared 65 years of marriage together. Loretta died on Monday, February 13, of this year. Bob was employed at Payne and Jones in Lowville and retired in 1994. He and Loretta made their home in Watson.
Bob was a past member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Lowville and Church of Christ Disciples in Felts Mills. He was a member of North Country Swingers and Square Dance, Bob enjoyed playing computer games.
He is survived by his three children, his two daughters and sons-in-law, Pamela and Gary Francis of Florida; Penny and Wayne Farney of Glenfield; his son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Robin Stoll of Michigan; thirteen grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; a great-great grandson and a great-great grandbaby on the way; and his three nephews and two nieces.
Bob is predeceased by his sister, Joan Stoll DeYoung-DeTayea and her husband Chuck, and his nephew, Steven DeYoung.
A spring graveside service will be held at Felts Mills Cemetery.
