Flossie A. Edmonds, 85, of South Rutland,and widow of Keith Edmonds, passed away Monday evening, April 23rd, at the Hospice Residence in Watertown following a brief stay.

Visitation is scheduled for Monday April 30th from 1-3 pm and 7-9 pm with a funeral on Tuesday, May 1st at a time to be scheduled at the Reed & Benoit Funeral Home, Watertown.

Mr. Robert (Bob) Ellsworth LaBarre

Mr. Robert (Bob) Ellsworth LaBarre, of Massena, New York, born on October 20, 1939, in Altona, New York, to the late Carol Burgoyne and the late Ellsworth LaBarre, passed away unexpectedly at age 78 on April 18, 2018, in Crystal River, Florida. Robert was preceded in death by his sister, Rachel and his brothers, Francis and Steven. He is survived by his son, Craig LaBarre, and daughter, Tammy Murphy; brothers, Donald and Lee LaBarre; sisters, Barbara Oakes and Sharleen DeLosh; grandchildren, Laura Bea Lamb and Michael Murphy; and great-grandchildren, Connor and Evelyn Lamb. Robert was a construction worker and was a member of the Upstate New York Laborer’s Union. He worked on several major construction sites such as, the St. Lawrence Seaway in Massena, New York; the Robert Moses Hydroelectric Power Plant in Niagara Falls, New York; the Black Butte Dam in Orland, California; and Nine Mile Point in Oswego, New York. Robert was a very hard worker, and in his spare time he enjoyed raising his Arabian show horses, listening to music, working in the yard, and exercising. Friends and family members may attend calling hours on Saturday, April 28, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Harter Funeral Home, 9 Washington Avenue, Mexico, New York 13114. A funeral service will follow, officiated by Reverend Frank Thomas, at 3:00 p.m. at the Harter Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 4, at 6:00 p.m. at the Crystal River Four Square Church in Crystal River, Florida.

Mrs. Pearl G. Felix

POTSDAM – Mrs. Pearl G. Felix, 95, a longtime resident of Raymondville and State Highway 11, passed away early Monday morning, April 23, 2018 at Massena Memorial Hospital.

Pearl was born March 16, 1923 in Massena, the daughter of the late Emery and Ida (Queor) Mossow and attended rural schools in Helena.

Pearl, along with her late husband, operated Felix’s General Store on Holmes Hill from 1961 until their retirement. She also did private laundry and home cleaning in the Raymondville area for many years. She was a longtime member of the American Legion Post #514 Ladies Auxiliary in Winthrop. Pearl loved to listen and dance to country music, do jigsaw and crossword puzzles, crafting and crocheting, reading, and cooking for her family. She cherished the memories she made while traveling to Maine and the family gatherings. She took great pride in her spotless home.

She is survived by her children and their spouses, Ferne and Thomas Lord of Winthrop; Gale “Bud” Felix of Norfolk; Richard and Wilma Felix of Syracuse; twins, Keith and Joanne Felix of Potsdam and Karen and Wayne Jock of Brasher Falls; a daughter-in-law, Roseanna Felix of Winthrop; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a son, Wayne Felix on March 28, 2015; grandsons, Brian “Pete” Felix, Matthew Lord, and Scott Felix; a great grandson, Corey Jock; two sisters, Rose Villnave and Nora Thompson; and five brothers, Francis, Clarence, William, Lawrence, and Emery “Hank” Mossow.

Friends may call Monday 2-4:00 and 6-8:00 PM at the Donaldson Funeral Home, Massena, where funeral services will be held Tuesday 10:00 AM. Burial will follow in Raymondville Cemetery.

CARTHAGE – Frances Elizabeth Walker Lanpher Brown, 97, died on Monday evening, April 23, 2018 at the Country Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, where she had been a resident since 2010. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, April 28th from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at the Grace Episcopal Church, Carthage, followed by a funeral mass at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery, West Carthage. A full obituary will follow. Arrangements are being handled by the Lundy Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc., 500 State St., Carthage.

James E. Cupernall

James E. Cupernall, 67, formerly of Clayton, passed away April 21, 2018 in Florida.

Jim was born in Potsdam on October 2, 1950, son of H. George and Mary Kittle Cupernall. He attended Watertown schools, then the family moved to Massachusetts where he graduated from Oakmont Regional High School in 1968. He received his Associates Degree from Mount Wachusett Community College, Gardener, MA in 1971.

While in MA, he worked for a nursery and greenhouse in Westminster, moved back to NY and worked for a greenhouse and landscaping business in Syracuse. In 1975 he became the owner and operator of the Village Greenhouses in Clayton which he ran until his retirement in 2005. During this time he also drove school bus for the LaFargeville school district.

On January 1, 1982 he married Darlene D. Timerman.

After his retirement the couple moved to Ormond Beach, FL. He worked as a courier for Snap Express and as a guard for Daytona International Speedway while in FL.

He enjoyed being a high school basketball referee while in Clayton and was an avid all-sports fan. He had landscaped several businesses in the Thousand Islands region, including Pine Tree Point and Riveredge Hotel, both in Alexandria Bay. Jim was a member of the Clayton Lions Club.

Along with his wife, Darlene, he is survived by his son and his wife, Alan and Tamsin Cupernall, Jacksonville, FL; daughter and her husband, Kristin and Brandon Haidaczuk, Dexter; grandson, Brandon Haidaczuk; sister and her husband, Jean and David Kenney, Clayton; mother-in-law, Kathy Timerman, Dexter; sister-in-law, Debbie Timerman; brother-in-law, David Timerman; a niece and nephew and their spouses, Chris and Kim Kenney and Heather and Brian Huntley; four great nieces and nephews; an uncle and his wife, Bob and Bev Kittle; and several cousins. His parents predeceased him.

Kenneth (Ken) J. Croft

Le Roy / Cape Vincent, NY - Kenneth (Ken) J. Croft passed away on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Batavia, NY on January 31, 1935 to the late Dorothy and Kenneth J. Croft Sr. In 1952, Ken graduated from LeRoy High School. He married the love of his life, Helen J. Lawrence, on April 16, 1955.

In 1954, Ken began a career as a mechanical engineer. He later earned several degrees in Industrial Supervision, Applied Science and Engineering Technology from Rochester Institute of Technology. After 40 years of dedicated service, he retired from Gleason Works of Rochester, NY in 1994.

Ken and Helen maintained a seasonal home in Cape Vincent, NY. Since 1955, the couple and their family have enjoyed fishing, camping, and swimming along the St. Lawrence River. He especially enjoyed being on the water with his boat named “Pa’s Toy”. Ken enjoyed traveling and spent time during his retirement years traveling with Helen to places like Alaska, Mexico, the Caribbean Islands, and all over the United States. He also enjoyed the challenges of new and computer technology; but above all else, he loved the time spent with family. They were “his whole world”.

Ken is survived by his wife of 63 years, Helen. Also surviving are: children, Lynne (Gary Roth), Debra (Joseph) Wood, Thomas and David (Mary); grandchildren Douglas (Megan) Croft, Jan (Kayla) Merchant, Missy (Tarmo) Pallop, Henry Wood and Jeremy Wood; great-grandchildren, Amelia and Luc Merchant, Ryan Wood, Heli and Liia Pallop; a sister, Kathy; and many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Family and friends may call on Saturday, April 28 from 10 AM – 12 PM at the Falcone Family Funeral & Cremation Service Inc., 8700 Lake St. Rd., LeRoy, where his Celebration of Life Service will be held at 12:00 PM. Interment in Machpelah Cemetery will immediately follow. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to either Wilmot Cancer Institute or LeRoy Historical Society.

A Celebration of Life service for James H. LaFex will be 12 noon on Saturday, April 28th at the VFW Post 1400, Bellew Ave. Watertown.

Mr. LaFex, 75 of Watertown, passed away Sunday, April 22nd at his home.

He is survived by his son Ryan J. (Nicole) LaFex, Cape Vincent; 3 daughters Jean Janis, Georgia, Ronda LaFex and Kelly Augustus, both of Watertown; 9 grandchildren Brad and David Paro, Abbigail LaFex, Maddison O’Neil, Kristina Augustus, Jennifer Currier, Kathrin Brett, Jeremy and Jay Kepner; several great grandchildren; his sister Judy Sawyer, Dexter; his uncle George LaFex, Watertown; two nephews Frank (Mary) LaFex, MD, Simon Sawyer, MS; two nieces Sunday Barcomb, Watertown and Crystal Gilligan, Dexter; many great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother Francis LaFex.

James was born in Watertown, April 19, 1943, a son to Donald and Rosemary Traynor LaFex. He graduated from Watertown High School in 1960. Mr. LaFex served with the Marines following high school during the Vietnam War.

Mr. LaFex retired as superintendent of buildings and grounds for the Hazeltine Corporation on Long Island, NY.

James was a member of the Marine Corp League and the North Side Improvement League.

Vito L. Raineri

Vito L. Raineri, Sr., 81, of NYS Rt. 180, died Saturday, April 21, 2018 at Carthage Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare, Carthage, NY.

Vito was born on June 19, 1936 in Wapwallopen, PA, he was the son of Charles and Leona Haskins Raineri. His family moved to Canastota, NY in 1938, where he grew up and worked the family muck farm, raising onions. He graduated from Canastota High School in 1955 and served in the US Army from 1955-1957 in guided missiles, where he received recognition for his superior job on duty. He later received an Associate Degree in Engineeering from LaSalle University, Philadelphia, PA. After working at New Process Gear, Syracuse, NY, for 32 years, he retired in June of 2000 as a tool engineer.

Vito was a charter member of the Canastota Boxing Hall of Fame and member of the Swietoniowski-Kopeczek American Legion Post in Auburn, NY. He was also past president of the Bridgeport Lion’s Club and from there he was an organizer for Jr. Achievement, Make-A-Wish Foundation, Orleans Outreach Program and many other charitable organizations throughout his community. His greatest passion was for his grandchildren and his garden, sharing vegtables with friends, neighbors and the outreach program.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Marguerite (Pickard); four children, daughter and son-in-law, Julie (Kenneth) Tuthill, Woodinville, WA, son and daughter-in-law, Vito L., Jr., (Christine) Raineri, Chittenango, NY, son, Albert A. Raineri, Willow Spring, NC, daughter and son-in-law, Kathleen (Jeffrey) Colella, Auburn, NY; thirteen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was predeceased by his parents, a sister, Leonora Raineri, two brothers, Carlo J. Raineri and Joseph Raineri.

Calling hours will be at St. John’s Catholic Church, Main Street, LaFargeville, NY on Friday April 27, 2018 from 11 am – 1 pm prior to the service. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1 pm with Rev. Arthur LaBaff, officiating.

James E. Barnard

James E. Barnard, 96, Green Settlement Road, Adams Center, died on April 10, 2018 at the Hospice House of Jefferson County, Watertown, NY. Memorial services will be held at the Belleville United Methodist Church on May 12th at 1:00pm. A private burial will be held at the convenience of the family at the Elmwood Cemetery, Adams. Surviving are his son Bruce Barnard, Rainbow Lake, NY, Cynthia K. Langworthy (Mrs. Frederick III), Jill A.B. Halligan (Mrs. Michael) Winthrop, ME, seven grandchildren, Frederick Langworthy IV, Amber Langworthy Besaw, Hillary Barnard, Shaun, Brendan, Christopher Halligan, great grandchildren Caleb and Seth Besaw, Olivia Langworthy, Layla Halligan and step granddaughter Jaelyn MacKee, as well as four nieces and one nephew, also a sister Shirley Hoyle, Lebanon, OH. He was predeceased by his parents, brother Wesley Barnard, and granddaughter Dr. Adrienne Barnard Whitford;

Jim was born November 3, 1921, at home in Vernon Center, NY, the son of Rev. Harold and Esther Barnard, having lived in Ava, Richland, Mexico and Carthage. He graduated from Mexico Academy and Central school in 1941, and SUNY Oswego in 1948, completing a Master’s degree in 1954. In the summer of 1951 he was honored by being asked to join the Epsilon Pi Tau, the Industrial Arts Honor Society.

He enlisted in the Army Reserve, in September of 1942, and he was called to active duty in May of 1943, taking his basic training at Camp Hood, Texas. Completing his basic, he was assigned as cadre to an Infantry Training Company at Camp Hood and later was stationed at Camp Blanding, FL and Fort Smith, AK. In the late fall of 1944 he was shipped to Italy and then to France where he joined the 70th Division, 274 Battalion, H Company. In February of 1945 he was wounded, recovering in a hospital outside of Paris. Following the Armistice he was assigned to Ammunition Company, stationed on the outskirts of Paris where he served his allotted time and his shipment home and discharge from Ft. Dix in March of 1946. He is a life member of the Disabled American Veterans.

He and E. Virginia Barnard were married on July 9, 1949 by Rev. Dr. George McClung and Rev. Harold Barnard in Asbury United Methodist Church in Watertown, NY. He taught Industrial Arts and Driver Education from the fall of 1948 to June of 1979 at Belleville Central School and was advisor to the Yearbook for twenty five years and was also president of the Teachers Association on several occasions. As a member of the Union Academy of Belleville, Board of Trustees he served as their president from 1996 to 2001. He and his family lived in the village of Belleville until 1955 when they purchased a home in Thomas Settlement and in 1998 moved to their present home on the Green Settlement Road.

As a member of the Belleville United Methodist Church, for sixty-five plus years, he has served the United Methodist in various capacities. Locally, he has been a Sunday School Teacher, Lay Leader and Financial Secretary and on the District level he served several years on the Building and Grounds Committee and the Northern New York Conference on the Board of Pensions for some twenty five years, serving as its Chairman for several years.

He joined the Rising Light Masonic Lodge in 1949 of which he is a Past Master. He is also a Past District Deputy Grand Master of the Jefferson Masonic District and has held the office of Secretary of Rising Light Lodge from 1981 to 2001. In 2014 he received his 65 Years of Service certificate from the Grand Lodge of the Free and Accepted Masons of the State of New York.

He had a number of hobbies and interests. He was a woodworker, photographer, collected stamps and coins, and unlike a lot of his generation, liked and used computers right up to the end.

He was able to stay in his home right up until the end through the loving care of his wife, and for over a year through the tender and devoted care of his caregiver Valerie Perry. He died as he always wished, quietly in his sleep, under the dedicated and supportive care of the Hospice House in Watertown.

HARRISVILLE – Darlene L. Berckley, age 64, passed away at home in Harrisville on April 24, 2018.

Darlene was born on September 4, 1953 in the Clifton-Fine Hospital of Star Lake to the late Garland C. and Florence L. (Davis) Berckley.

Her survivors include her sister and brother-in-law, Isabel and Kenneth Myers of Harrisville; two brothers, Garland “Butch” Berckley Jr. of North Carolina and Tracy and Rebecca Berckley of Harrisville; and her cousins.

Darlene enjoyed McDonald’s Happy Meals, swimming and watching television.

William B. “Bill” McCallops

CHAMPION- William B. “Bill” McCallops, 88, formerly of the Vanbrocklin Road, died on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at the Hospice Home of Jefferson County surrounded by his loving family. He was born on November 11, 1929 in Champion, New York to the late Arnold A. Mildred M. Chubb McCallops. Bill attended the one room school house in Champion, NY he did carpentry work, worked for the Town of Champion and he was a Farmer, he owned and operated a Dairy Farm for the majority of his life in Deer River.

He married Evelyn L. Waite on August 20, 1948 at the Methodist Church Parsonage in Philadelphia, NY. Mrs. McCallops died on December 20, 2004.

He is survived by several children, Carol (Heriberto) Gutierrez, Champion; Linda (Patrick) Ryan, Georgia; Bruce McCallops, Colorado; Teri (Mannie) McCallops, Philippines; and Laura McCallops, Champion. He is also survived by two sisters, Marjorie Schloeder, Carthage; Rose Hastings, (Carthage); and 6-grandchildren, 14-great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his Canine Companion “Frankie”.

He is predeceased by one sister, 2-grandchildren and 1-great grandson.

He enjoyed woodworking especially making bird feeders, he was an avid bird watcher, enjoyed doing puzzles, in his younger days he spent time hunting, and lately he loved watching, COPS and Live PD.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, April 27, 2018 from 1-3pm at the Lundy Funeral Home & Cremation Service Inc., located at 500 State Street in Carthage, NY 13619. A Memorial Service will be held in the chapel at 3:00pm with the Lay Minister, Sara Walsemann, who is Bill’s sister-law. Burial will be held privately by his family in the Sunnyside Cemetery, Naumburg.

Betty Czoper

Betty Czoper, 96, of West End Ave., Carthage, NY, died Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at the Carthage Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing where she has resided for 6 years.

Betty was born on September 11, 1921 in Carthage, the daughter of the late Nemor and Bertha (Joseph) Betrus of Lebanon. She was a 1939 graduate of Augustinian Academy. She married Adolph Czoper on August 24, 1941 at St. James Church with Rev. Samuel D’Angelo officiating, and they spent more than 50 happy years together until Adolph died on August 16, 1994.

Betty worked as a waitress at the former Calendar’s, and she was a clerk at the former American Store, Abbass Food Corp. and the Deferiet Foodland. She was a dedicated member of St. James Church and St. Joseph’s Workers, and she volunteered many hours for the St. James Fairs, cooking and selling her celebrated Lebanese food. Betty also was a member of the Carthage Area Hospital Auxiliary and an avid bridge player.

Betty is survived by her son, John M. Czoper of Akron, OH; her son-in-law, Robert Fitzsimmons of Rochester, NY; her granddaughter, Mrs. Michael (Kara) Fayne of Montclair, NJ; two great-grandchildren, Henry and Veronica Fayne; and many nieces, nephews and cousins who loved their Aunt Betty dearly.

She is predeceased by her daughter, Mary Ann Fitzsimmons, who died in 2011; her 6 brothers, Ferris, Thomas, Michael, Simon, Joseph and Peter Betrus; and 2 sisters, Debe and Josephine Betrus.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, April 28 at St. James Church with Rev. Donald A. Robinson, Pastor officiating. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Friday, April 27 from 4-6pm at the Bezanilla-McGraw Funeral Home.

The Funeral for Linda M. Lowe, 69, who died April 19th, in Syracuse, will be held 3pm, Saturday, April 28th, at the T.R. Jetty Funeral Home in Clayton. Calling hours will be from 1-3pm prior to the Funeral Service. A reception will follow at the Clayton American Legion Post 821.

Linda was born May 2, 1948, in Alexandria Bay, the daughter of Gene (Frenchie) and Betty Albicker Ransier.

She graduated from T.I. High School.

On October 5, 1968, she married Stephen Lowe, at the Clayton United Methodist Church.

In her younger years she worked for the Clayton Tent Factory, and for over 40 years she worked at Natali’s C-Way Restaurant in Clayton until having a stroke in 2009.

Linda was a member of the Colon Couch Post 821 Ladies Auxiliary.

She enjoyed murder mysteries, eating Hershey drops, and she enjoyed helping out by working at various functions at the Depauville Fire Hall and the Clayton American Legion.

Surviving besides her husband Stephen is one daughter, Mrs. Bruce (Tona) Dano of Clayton; five grandchildren; one great granddaughter; two brothers, Charles (Cindy) of Myrtle Beach, and James of Redwood; nieces and nephews.

One son Timothy Lowe died August 5th, 1996, at age 25, and two brothers, Allen in 1972, and Michael a few years ago, died before her.

Mr. Reese died on April 24, 2018, at SUNY Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse as a result of injuries sustained in a tragic house fire.

Frances Elizabeth Walker Lanpher Brown

CARTHAGE – Frances Elizabeth Walker Lanpher Brown, 97, died on Monday evening, April 23, 2018 at the Country Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, where she had been a resident since 2010.

Fran was born in July 15, 1920 in Watertown, the daughter of the late John Vincent and Helen Brownell Walker; she graduated from Carthage High School in 1938. Her brother, James Walker, died after coming home from World War II. She married George Eugene Lanpher on November 22, 1941. George died on September 4, 1985. She married Richard Brown on November 15, 1986; they resided in the Syracuse area and in Ocean Ridge, FL. Richard passed away on October 16, 2007.

Prior to her marriage to George, she worked at the Carthage License Bureau, later she worked summers as a school census taker. After her children were grown, she worked at the former Carthage Marine Bank and the Carthage Area Hospital Accounting Department before doing the books for the family business, Dave’s Body Shop in West Carthage and for the Carthage Chamber of Commerce, taking her husband’s place after he died.

She enjoyed traveling and was a talented seamstress, making suits for her husband, bridal gowns and endless outfits for her friends and family. She also wrote music for church and a ladies’ quartet. She loved doing needlepoint, especially designing the patterns. She designed and made altar kneelers and church hangings with the help of the others she taught, for Grace Church as well as other Episcopal churches as she moved from one area to another.

Frances was a devoted member of Grace Episcopal Church, the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Vermont Society of Mayflower Descendants, the 4 River Valley Historical Society, a former member of the Carthage Music Club, the Daughters of the Nile, the Order of the Eastern Star, the Grace Church Choir and the Episcopal Church Women.

She is survived by two children, Jeanette Helen “Jeannie” Fox and David Roland (Sandra) Lanpher, both of Carthage, her step son, R. Lee Brown, Seattle, WA, step daughters, Lynn Giroux, Springville, NY, Betty Wall, Delmar, NY and Cindy Whitehurst, St. Croix, VI; 18 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, a cousin, Joseph Brownell of Cortland and his children and grandchildren.

Besides her husbands and brother, she is predeceased by her son, Loren James Lanpher, who died on September 7, 1980.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, April 28th from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at the Grace Episcopal Church, Carthage, followed by a funeral mass at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery, West Carthage. Arrangements are being handled by the Lundy Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc., 500 State St., Carthage.

Bonnie N. Tink went to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on Friday, April 13, 2018.

Bonnie had deep ties to the Watertown community. Her father, Rev. R. Fletcher Tink pastored the Watertown Church of the Nazarene from 1971-1978 and her mother, Vernita Tink, was an elementary school teacher at Starbuck and Sherman Street Schools.

In recent years Bonnie lived in St. Augustine, FL but spent her summers in Watertown. She was a graduate of Eastern Nazarene College (Quincy, MA) and Lesley College (Cambridge, MA). During her career, she taught special education students in Massachusetts and later in Palm Coast, FL.

She greatly enjoyed the Life First Church of the Nazarene on Thompson Blvd. and the wonderful people and friends she met there.

She is survived by her brothers, Fletcher, Ian and Wesley. Calling hour will be at 10:00 am on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 with the funeral to follow at 11:00 am at the Watertown Life Church of the Nazarene, Rev. Bob Tharp host pastor. There will be a luncheon to follow.

The funeral for Flossie A. Edmonds will be 12 noon Tuesday, May 1st at the Reed & Benoit Funeral Home, Watertown, with Rev. Larry Duthie officiating. Burial will follow in the South Rutland Cemetery. Calling hours are Monday, April 30th from 1 pm – 3 pm and 7 pm – 9 pm at the funeral home.

Mrs. Edmonds, 85, of South Rutland, passed away Monday, April 23rd at the Hospice Residence surrounded by her loving family.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law John and Robin, Adams Center; three daughters and sons-in-law Sally and Tom Jones, Kellogg Hill, Cathy and Gary Parker, Chaumont and Mary Edmonds, So. Rutland; her grandchildren Shannon Dunham, Ty, Tiersa, and Ryan Edmonds, David (Eimile ) Parker, Jameson Parker and Rachel (Branden) Cornish; great grandchildren MaKenna and Andon Dunham, Kian Edmonds and Hudson Parker; many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Flossie was predeceased by two sons, Martin J. and David W.; four brothers Glen, William, Paul and John McAvoy and four sisters, Mary Commins, Edith Leddy, Beatrice Burnup and Pauline McAvoy.

She was born in Theresa November 12, 1932, a daughter to James W. and Lillian M. Bacon McAvoy. She attended schools in Evans Mills. She married Keith J. Edmonds on October 10m 1953 at Faith Chapel in Watertown. Mr. Edmonds passed away on July 21, 2000.

Flossie was a mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to all who knew her. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, cooking for all who came to visit her and watching her hummingbirds.

Calling hours for Margo E. Fuller, a resident of The Grand Nursing Home in Utica, NY will be Saturday from 1-3 p.m. at TLC Funeral Home, Inc. Mrs. Fuller died at Rome Memorial Hospital on April 25, 2018. She was 77.

She was born Watertown, NY on October 28, 1941 the daughter of Everett and Doris Cummings Benway. She graduated from Watertown High School. She married Richard Fuller on October 30, 1976 at the First Presbyterian Church in Watertown.

Mrs. Fuller was a homemaker. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her name to the Alzheimers Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011.

Surviving are her husband Richard, her six children Katherine Fuller of Lincolnton, NC, John and Betty Fuller of Watertown, Elwin Fuller of Lincolnton, NC, Willard and Tina Arrowood of Lincolnton, NC, Melena Cousins and her fiance’ Warren Trevino, Jr. of Watertown, and Scott and Dawn Baker of Watertown, NY, her two brothers Leonard Benway of Ogdensburg, NY and John and Ginger Brett Benway of Watertown, NY, her two sisters and brother in law Dolores Vialpando of Blackfoot, Idaho, Punky and Jean Bowman of Lakeland, FL. She is also survived by 26 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Two brothers John Benway, LeRoy Benway, a sister Chiquita Gebo, and a precious granddaughter Angel Marie Fuller died before her. Arrangements are with TLC Funeral Home, Inc.
