LaComb, 66 of Sylvan Beach, N.Y. passed away Saturday April 16th at the Hospice Facility in New Hartford, NY with his family by his side./ppStephen was born November 5, 1949 in Malone, NY the son of Earl and Corrine Gebo LaComb. He graduated from St. Joseph’s Ursaline Academy in 1967 where he was active in band and sports and also held bowling record for 15 year old bowling a 647 score in nation from 1965 to 1977./ppStephen worked at various shoe stores as a salesman and later manager throughout the northeast. In 1977 he became a self employed building contractor in the Massena area where he also tended bar at the American Legion and several other bars. He was later hired by General Motors Corp in 1979 as a quality control inspector / die-cast operator and moved to Syracuse in 1985. He retired in 1994 from GM due to health./ppStephen was a charter member of Sons of American Legion of Massena, was an active bowler and enjoyed fishing. He loved building and loved his workshop./ppHe married in 1969 and that marriage ended. He married Sandra D. Goutremout on December 30, 1986 in Baldwinsville./ppStephen is survived by his wife Sandra and four children: Stephanie (Garry) Jones of Wilton, NY, Billie Jo (Todd) Murray of Norfolk, NY, Stephen (Annette) LaComb of Norwood, NY and Lauren LaComb of Sylvan Beach. He has 16 grandchildren, brothers Earl LaComb of PA and Christopher (Julie) LaComb of Fl. And a sister Candace (Larry) Bornt of Troy, nieces and nephews./ppA sister Renee White predeceased him. Following her education, Ann worked for BOCES as a dental hygienist at Adams, Adams Center, Brownville and Dexter School Districts. She later worked for Dr. Richmond, DDS. Ann then went on to be Dental Hygiene Teacher at the Belleville, Henderson, and Belleville Henderson Central School Districts until her retirement in 1995. After retiring, she continued to work for Belleville Henderson Central School as a cashier until just a few months prior to her passing. She also served many years as Tax Collector for the District./ppShe married Glenn Zehr June 7, 1963 at the home of her parents, her present home, in Belleville./ppAnn was a member of the Belleville United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir since she was a child and served as the Financial Secretary on the Council Board for many years. She was a loyal member of the Union Academy Board of Trustees and the Woodside Cemetery Board of Trustees. She enjoyed crafting beautiful stained glass, needle point work and sewing.
